We donate a percentage of our takings to Charity, namely, Water Aid, Oxfam and BIBIC (Charity for providing expert facilities for healing brain damaged children). We also support a school for disabled children in Laddakh, India.

Government Middle School, Chilkhot, Yoma, Near Leh, Laddakh

This school teaches approxiamately 90 children aged between 5 and 14 years old. A number of them have special needs.

There is a hostel close to the school that caters for disabled children from poor families and remote villages who attend the school..

The school is multi-faith but with a majority of muslim children. One of the older girls has achieved communication skills to be able to relate to the deaf children. Other children at the school are showing marked musical talent.

As a result of donations made, the school has been able to appoint another infant teacher on a temporary basis, but more help is needed for her continued wages and also for books and other school materials. Even the smallest donation is helpful. This is a project that you could support and get progress reports from.
