I am offering my beautiful home for rent this summer. It is set in the S.France, in the untouched Viaur Valley, Tarn, in an area of exceptional natural history with Flora and Fauna. It is also surrounded by historic towns with Cathar Castles, and vibrant markets selling lovely french produce. It has a river on the edge of the property where you can swim and indulge in picnics. Also nearby is the Cap Decouvert for out door pursuits and there are lots of places where you can go horse back riding though the forests or canooing. There are many marked walks, ‘randonees’ through the valley.
It is very peaceful.The days are filled with birdsong and little else. You may see wild deer or wild boar as well as all sorts of beautiful wild flowers and trees.
I am in the process of renovating the house, so for this reason I am offering it at much less than I would normally rent it out for.
It is available for £600 for a month or £300 for a week. It will sleep 5 people, one double and three singles. It is best to spend more than a week there. You will need a car in the area. (Soon to be changed to have an extra double bed). It is very easy to fly from Bristol to Toulouse and hire a car, or drive down.
